Tapjoy is seeking a natural connector, someone who is strong, resilient, and motivated by a fast paced environment.  The right person would come in and lead the recruiting efforts globally across our US, EMEA and APAC offices.   This person should possess strong levels of empathy and understanding while at the same time possess a will to overcome any obstacle and charge head first into action.  You will help us build and execute an effective recruiting strategy to support high growth, while at the same time analyzing our structures in place and offering suggestions to improve and streamline processes.  You would be the voice of Recruiting and Retention and a strong business partner.  You would do this all while supporting a high performing team with a smile on your face.

Your Mission: 

  • Work closely with the VP of HR, the existing recruiting team and the leadership team to articulate strategic priorities, deliverables, and timelines for Recruiting 
  • Work closely to ensure that the candidate experience is the biggest priority 
  • we attract great people because we CARE 
  • Serve as an owner of all the processes related to the streamlining and automation of recruitment 
  • Ensure that communication between hiring managers, candidates, and the recruiting team flows 
  • Lead the recruiting team by developing new and enhancing existing recruiting processes and strategies 
  • Define and implement consistent hiring goals while managing resources internally and externally 
  • Stay hands-on as a senior technical recruiter and take responsibility for filling the most challenging roles 
  • Provide the executive team with weekly updated pipeline/status reports 
  • Ensure that time to hire is reduced - be ready to kick down road blocks with confidence and swagger 
  • Build and deliver interview training courses for all employees

Core Competencies include: 

  • Comfortable and excited being the brand ambassador for Tapjoy 
  • Experience in supporting high performing recruiting teams 
  • Consistent background of finding awesome people - Experience in developing plans and strategies to drive recruiting forward 
  • Flexible, able to partner with a wide variety of individuals across the company including our senior business leaders and seasoned professional candidates of the engineering organization.  You are comfortable with change 
  • Passionate about candidate's experience and guiding them through the process 
  • You've scaled teams before, so you know what it takes to do that 
  • Data-driven, with an exemplary command of using data to drive organizational change 
  • Committed to developing the team and peers 
  • Realize that work can be FUN and enjoys having balance between grinding and relaxing

Requirements: 

  • 10+ years of recruiting experience in a dynamically growing tech company
