Position Title: Director of Talent Acquisition
Tapjoy is looking for a Director of Talent Acquisition to support the existing recruiting team as peak performers. We are a fast-paced, stable startup that is growing out our employee workforce in all directions. In this role, you will optimize candidate experience and assist our recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators to reach their maximum potential. You’ll be successful in this role if you are a natural connector, intuitive, and dedicated to employee wellbeing and growth.
Core Responsibilities include:
Work closely with HR, recruiting, and executives to communicate your strategy, pipeline, and deadlines
Lead the recruiting team by continuously improving processes
Be an expert in your space: be on pulse with industry changes, layoffs, etc. (prior involvement in gaming, adtech, or mobile industries are a huge plus)
Explore and evaluate new resources that can elevate team performance (ATS demos, sourcing tools, agencies)
Remain hands-on and take responsibility for filling the most challenging roles
Partner with Diversity & Inclusion on events and strategies
Build and deliver interview training courses for all employees

Having a vast existing network to tap into

Past experience supporting high performing recruiting teams
Desire to mentor, coach, and encourage recruiters of all levels
Passionate about creating a positive and consistent candidate experience
Data-driven, with a proven record of using data to make organizational change
Confident ramping up with any ATS software (we currently use JobScore)
10+ years of hands on recruiting experience (focus on technical recruiting is a major bonus!)
5+ years of people management skills
Past experience recruiting internationally is a plus
Excellent communication skills and the ability to create clarity out of ambiguity
Prior experience working directly with executives to hire in line with business goals
Previous experience at a fast-paced startup, or high growth company
