Sales Representative - Sioux City

Sales | Sioux City, IA | Full Time and Contract

Job Description

Symmetry provides clients with industry-leading supplemental insurance benefits. Our products protect small businesses, individuals, and families from financial problems and pressures that accompany serious health issues. Our communities need this protection now more than ever and we are looking for 1-2 new agents in the Siouxland to make an impact by protecting families in the area. While applicants with proven sales and leadership success are always encouraged to apply, we are excited to train highly driven and self-disciplined entry-level candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn our proven Gold Standard Sales System through classroom and field training
  • Daily in-person sales calls using a mobile database of prospects
  • Make sales presentations to individuals as well as groups
  • Meet weekly activity targets that align with your agreed-upon personal goals
  • Travel one week per quarter for sales and training opportunities

Requirements:

  • Ability to build rapport quickly with new prospects
  • Character that aligns with our organization's core values

  • Well defined personal and/or career goals
  • Active health insurance license or willing to acquire (we sponsor & support for new agents throughout licensing)

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Direct sales, outside sales, or B2B sales
  • Sales presentation, cold calling, or networking experience
  • Disciplined work ethic
  • Coachable
