Syllable Customer Service Representative

Great opportunity for an individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who wants to help people and become a part of creating a program from the ground up. Syllable is a healthcare technology company that uses artificial intelligence to make it easier for patients to get information, find appropriate care, and perform transactions at health systems. The Role

The Syllable Customer Service Representative will be an essential point of contact between patients looking for care and our health system clients. You will be interacting with patients to navigate them to the right care provider, to assist them in scheduling appointments, and to obtain services and pertinent information. Given the activities of this role, you will become the voice of the patient for our company and bring real world and real-time experience to our product team. As an individual contributor you will be part of a team for a new program. You should be compassionate, efficient, and draw joy from speaking to patients about the  services they need. Be strong in the areas of people skills, empathy, and compassion. Be comfortable with technology and ability to multi-task and problem solve. 

Qualities of the Successful Candidate

  • Great communication skills on the phone and through texting

  • Empathy and patience

  • Diligent and detail oriented at taking notes and recording information as a transcript

  • Able to report bugs, describe issues, and identify points of friction

  • Great at reading and writing documentation

  • Collaborative and like working in a team environment

  • Personable on the phone

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.A., B.S. required; RN, MA, APRN, PA, MSW preferred 

  • Experience with providing support or customer service

  • Experience in healthcare 

  • Strong experience in Google Suite, MS Office and Web based portal computer skills.

About the position

  • Full time position

  • Must be a US resident

  • Must be authorized to work in the US

  • Work hours between 8AM to 5PM Pacific

  • Weekends and after hours are optional, and compensated
