General Office Clerk
Office | Oceanside, NY | Full Time
- Wholesale Cosmetics Company looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual for general office work. Including excel data entry, inventorying products and customer service.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Excel - Knowledge and good understanding of MS Excel (formatting, arithmetic formulas), Heavy excel work entering in products into inventory.
- MS Word - (formatting –tables, tabulators).
- QuickBooks experience preferred.
- Deal directly with Customers either by telephone, email or face to face.
- Organize tasks according to priority.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal personnel.
- Follow up on Customer inquiries and or complaints.
- Answer phone in a courteous manner and take messages as needed.
- Assist in all areas of the company.
- Research product demand and cost to assist in listing products.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Past Customer Service Experience.
- Proficient in Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to use a printer, fax machine and other basic office equipment.
- Previous experience in tasks and responsibilities listed above.
- Attention to detail is a MUST.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Adaptability - work in all areas of the Company as needed.
- Interpersonal skills - communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Listening skills.
- Critical thinking, strong logic and problem analysis and solving.
- Shows initiative.
