We are looking for a Compliance Officer who also acts as the bank’s BSA Officer, Privacy Officer, CIP Officer, OFAC Officer, Safe Act Officer, Reg. O Officer and Risk Management Officer.
The Compliance Officer examines bank policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with laws and regulations; works closely with senior management and banking staff to guarantee the institute's policies and procedures follow these rules. Remains current with changes to federal and state banking laws and regulations affecting the management, operations, and product offerings of the bank. Provides guidance for the Board and senior management team on matters relating to compliance. Ensures compliance with all requirements, policies and procedures outlined in the Bank’s BSA/AML Compliance Program. Oversees the BSA team to ensure timely and accurate filing of BSA regulatory forms such as Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs). Consults with and advises operating units and managers affected by compliance issues and regulatory requirements. Coordinates with various departments and legal counsel, when necessary, to ensure adherence to laws and regulations relating to new or revised regulations, products and services offerings. Oversees the revision, preparation, and dissemination of new and updated compliance standards and procedures. Coordinates the organization and timely updating of the bank’s policy and procedure manuals. Coordinates, supervises, and supports bank's compliance-related programs, such as compliance training, compliance. testing and reporting, and records warehousing and destruction. Also, arranges compliance audits in conjunction with Audit Committee and acts as the bank’s liaison with Audit Committee.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or seven years compliance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The strong candidate will be a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM).
