Work environment: Hybrid – WFH 50%/month


Job Summary

The Client Service Specialist is client-facing and responsible for opening accounts, transferring assets, and other account maintenance requests, and serves as the liaison between Summitry and its custodian partners. This will include administration and operational support to the team of Financial Advisors and our clients. They will work on projects to maximize efficiency, utilize various internal systems, and learn process-based workflows to service ongoing client requests. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, a team player, energetic, proactive, hardworking, flexible, and resourceful.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Investigates and answers operationally driven client inquiries
  • Provides ongoing day-to-day support to our high-net-worth clients
  • Responds to client requests in a timely manner (such as but not limited to onboarding new clients, coordinating client requests, money movement, general client account maintenance, generating reports, and updating restrictions)
  • Serves as a primary liaison between Summitry and Custodians (Schwab/TD Ameritrade and Fidelity)
  • Completes daily administrative tasks and updates internal systems
  • Answers phones and directs calls as backup to the Workplace Experience Coordinator


Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of RIA Operations/Client Service experience
  • Basic financial services knowledge/experience
  • Notary Public (or willing to obtain this after employment)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • CRM, portfolio account software, and custodian web-interface experience required
  • A strong work ethic and stellar communication skills
  • Ability to work independently but also be a proactive contributing team member
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on projects effectively
  • Ability to multi-task and a drive to succeed
  • Strong desire to learn and contribute to a team-oriented environment
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
  • Must have a mode of transportation for travel (occasional notary/client meetings)


Salary and Benefits

  • The expected base salary for this position will range from $70-100K plus eligibility for a bonus based on successfully completing metrics. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
