Student Works Painting is an established company that has been around for over 30 years providing the best quality of service out there. We are professional, dedicated, detail oriented, and our goal is to provide professional quality interior/exterior painting services to local homes and business owners. Attitude is key and can make up for a lack of experience.

My team is looking to hire motivated and eager individuals to paint this summer!

Responsibilities and Expectations

• Preparing surfaces before painting, sanding, scraping etc.

• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

• Be timely and have organized space at all times.

• Being upbeat and utilizing customer service skills.

• Follow all training systems and undertake each project as directed

• STRICTLY follow safety measures

• Ability to work from ladders/heights - A fear of heights may make this job increasingly difficult

• *Reliable Transportation - we require you to be able to get to and from job sites within our general working area. Full-time access to a vehicle is required.

• Motivated to make money - everyone wants to make money for whatever it may be, and you are compensated for your efforts, the better you get at your job, the more you can make!

• Coachability - must be open to learning and improving. No one is perfect and that's okay, we're here to develop as a team!

Painter Role

Painters will be fully trained and routinely provided with additional support to develop and master the skill of painting. From prepping every surface to the finished fully revitalized product, you will be given the opportunity to transform any home or business through your own rewarding work. We use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, ladders, power sanders, paint sprayers, large extension ladders, and many other specialized painting tools for any and every possible situation! If you have previously worked with any of the aforementioned tools, please indicate so in your application, any experience is welcomed!

Painter Position: A challenging yet very rewarding role, this position is perfect for anyone who wants to get hands on work experience in a trade that will never go out of style. This position will provide you with fantastic labour experience, and lifetime skill that will allow you to earn based on your performance and motivation to improve! The best people for this job are not always the most experienced painters but those are most open to learning, come in with a great attitude, are coachable, are great at communicating and working with others. This job requires working outdoors, on ladders, and sometimes long hours so endurance and perseverance are always a welcome asset!

All painter positions are full-time for the spring/summer of 2025 and we are hiring RIGHT NOW to get you prepared for the season!

Positions have advancement opportunities within the company for those with the right attitude and the desire to further their management/leadership skills!
