You will be responsible for running the recruiting process from end-to-end from sourcing, qualifying to scheduling candidates while working closely with hiring managers to make sure our internal processes deliver a first-class candidate experience. Job Description:

You will work out of our Chelsea office in NYC and will be our first internal recruiter in that office growing the NYC team. You’ll focus primarily on sales, marketing and other non-technical roles. You’ll run the recruiting process from end-to-end from sourcing, qualifying to scheduling candidates while working closely with hiring managers to make sure the best processes are in place. You’ll work to understand our current and future hiring needs and come up with ways to hit those objectives while also taking on other interesting people-ops projects around onboarding, culture, development, etc.


Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Own all of recruiting focusing on sales, marketing, customer success and other G&A roles while also taking on other people-operations related projects (around onboarding, culture, etc)

  • Qualify, source, screen and schedule candidates and help move them through the process and use metrics to continually improve and get better at bringing the right talent into the company

  • Create a powerful outbound sourcing strategy, especially when it comes to sales candidates, using accountable metrics to iterate and improve

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create scorecards, job descriptions, and profiles of ideal candidates as well as appropriate interview questions and structure

  • Own the ATS and move candidates through the funnel

  • Conduct initial phone screens to qualify inbound and passive candidates, both selling the company and acting as the gatekeeper to hiring managers

  • Manage and create a great candidate experience from initial contact to rejections and make sure we keep in touch with talented passive candidates for future roles

  • Constantly use strategic and proactive thinking to implement better processes and systems to retain talent, such as performance reviews, talent branding, and other methods

Skills Required:

  • 2+ years in recruiting (agency or startup), with an emphasis on sales recruiting and other non-technical roles being a plus

  • A great sourcer who is able to bring in passive candidates

  • A self-starter who combines a high level of creativity/initiative with strong organizational skills

  • Someone who loves taking ownership

  • Ability to parallel process multiple searches at the same time while staying organized

  • A great communicator who is able to sell and represent the company internally and externally with enough maturity to run the recruiting and talent process
