We are searching for a Business Intelligence Engineer to design and architect our BI infrastructure to support the development of BI dashboards and reports. This effort involves understanding of BI reporting needs, definition of data model of BI data warehouse, ETL of 25+ years of business aviation data from multiple data sources, development of BI dashboards and reports to provide insights for making business decisions to optimize profit and reduce costs for customers.

Your Background:

  • BS in Computer Science or Information Systems or other technically relevant degree

  • 4+ years in leading BI and Analytics Platform (e.g. Birst, Qlik, Tableau, Cognos, OBI or similar tools)

  • Experience working with AWS storage technologies like S3, redshift etc 

  • Experience building data warehouse schema from transactional systems

  • Expert in SQL, ETL, report development, and transactional table relationships 

  • Experience working with multi-tenant datasets

  • Functional and technical requirements gathering for Reporting and Analytics 

  • Strong written and Oral communication

  • Ability to work in a team environment with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction

  • Must have strong analytical skills and can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple, dynamic priorities preferably in a scrum/agile environment
