About Stash Hotel Rewards

Stash Hotel Rewards brings independently minded travelers and independent hotels together. Title: Partnership Development Manager

Location: Remote (preferred locations: PNW, West Coast, Midwest, New England)

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: Base salary plus performance-based bonus tied to sales results.

The Role

Stash Hotel Rewards is the largest points-based rewards program for independent hotels in North America, and we’re continuing to grow our network. We’re looking for a Partnership Development Manager to drive new hotel partner growth through proactive outreach, consultative selling, and strong relationship-building.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys discovery, research, and meaningful conversations — someone who is energized by finding hidden hotel gems, learning hotel stories and their needs, and building partnerships over time. We’re not just closing deals — we’re creating relationships.

What You'll do

  • Seek out and qualify extraordinary independent hotels for the Stash network.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline aligned with territory goals, ensuring complete knowledge of the market.
  • Identify key decision makers and introduce them to Stash Hotel Rewards through outbound communications.
  • Drive new partnerships through proactive outreach (e.g., cold calling, email, events) to engage prospective hotel partners.
  • Convert outreach into presentations that clearly outline Stash’s value proposition and the opportunity for prospective hotels, while identifying each hotel’s needs.
  • Conduct initial meetings with prospective partners, effectively position Stash Hotel Rewards, and turn leads into qualified opportunities.
  • Develop awareness of industry and market trends, competitor offerings, and partner needs.
  • Attend relevant hospitality conferences and events.
  • Foster relationships and conduct high-level negotiations with owners and senior executives at hotels, ownership groups, and management companies.
  • Finalize new partnership agreements from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with the Stash Partner Advocate team to ensure smooth and timely onboarding and continued success of new Partner Hotels.
  • Collaborate across the company to improve processes and develop new features and services.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2–5 years of B2B sales, business development, or market development experience. (Experience selling travel technology or services a plus.)
  • Commercial and growth mindset with discipline in activity management and follow‑through.
  • A track record of exceeding goals and quotas.
  • Familiarity with CRMs (HubSpot preferred), territory planning, and sales forecasting.
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of the travel industry, with a passion for independent hotels.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue by building relationships and identifying the needs of potential partners.
  • Commitment to building effective and long-lasting relationships with partners and clients.
  • Demonstrated success in complex sales, including cross-functional communication with decision-makers at all levels.
  • Availability to travel at least one week per month to visit sales prospects and attend industry events.
