SALES OPERATIONS & RETAIL MARKETING MANAGER

Job Description

Square Panda is mid-tier start-up positioned for ultra-fast growth in next 5 years. Retail sales will grow from $1M in 2018 to $10M in 2019 as big-box retail accounts are opened. This role is integral to our successful growth and is the next level support manager for the VP Retail Sales.

Key job requirements:

  • Proactively identify bottlenecks in the sales process and find ways to reduce them to make the sales machine go faster

  • Increase sales productivity by simplifying processes and implementing sales automation tools like Salesforce

  • Create and maintain documentation of sales processes, assisting with onboarding new accounts including new account set up via retail account portals

  • Sales ops managers own the end-to-end process of tracking the sales process and conversion rates throughout the sales funnel. Take ownership of items that need to be adjusted to improve sales performance in the pipeline. Build reports to inform sales reps, managers, and leadership on historical results, current performance, and expected future results

  • Collaborate with VP Sales to define quarterly objectives, standardize business reporting, and create dashboards for exec team

  • Collaborate between brand marketing and retail accounts to build retail marketing campaigns that align by retailer but also align with Square Panda’s corporate goals



Skills Required:

  • Well-versed in Salesforce.com or another CRM system

  • Analyze complex datasets and glean insights to provide strategic recommendations using Excel

  • Communication is critical. Share data analysis findings with VP Sales via emails citing data points and sales results, but also includes presenting to groups of people from time to time and persuading executives when they believe specific issues should be prioritized.

  • Collaboration with other departments is critical in this role. Cross-functional projects are always taking place, most frequently in marketing, finance, and IT departments. Sales operations managers work closely with marketing on campaign execution and reporting, finance on deal desk and revenue recognition management, and IT on sales automation implementation and maintenance. 

  • Driven self-starters who can be trusted to do meaningful work while thinking about the bigger picture of how the sales teams can function more efficiently and effectively.

  • Creative and collaborative with marketing to build successful retail marketing programs

  • 5+ Years of Experience, including retail marketing experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Experience managing sales automation and CRM systems is preferred
