 What you’ll do - Summary: 

Working within the SQAD Product team responsible for delivering on-time and on-budget feature functionality exceeding client expectations. Particular focus will be around driving innovation within the Video Advertising space for both MediaCosts: National and MediaCosts: Digital.  The Product Innovation Leader is responsible for working with current clients, potential data partners, and the Development team to determine the direction for the next generation of MediaCosts: National and MediaCosts: Digital to ensure they both remain vital tools for our current and future clients.   

 What you’ll do - Detail:  PRODUCT INNOVATION LEADER

  • Work with the Management Team, Developers, Sales and Product Team to determine the future of the MediaCosts: National and MediaCosts: Digital products.  Help define the scope, oversee the creation of business requirements and prioritize enhancement efforts for the development of this product.  

  • Evaluate business processes and determine areas for improvement to the current business rules. 

  • Work with Development to ensure alignment between market requirements and product design. 

  • Work collaboratively with Development and other teams to resolve questions that arise during development, maintaining a positive working relationship. 

  • Evangelize the MediaCosts: National and MediaCosts: Digital products in the marketplace. 

  • Identify and attend industry related seminars to stay abreast of current marketplace trends 

  • Create an industry council of current SQAD users to help determine next generation features 

  • Establish senior level agency contact roster  

  • Be prepared to work in a fast-paced, innovation-filled environment with constantly changing priorities while still meeting deadlines. 

  • Identify opportunities in the media marketplace that could impact our business and guide the development of the MediaCosts: National and MediaCosts: Digital products accordingly.   

Ideal Skills and Experience: 

  • 7+ years in the Digital Media space, either in the buy / sell side or in the Tech Space.  

  • Excellent knowledge of programmatic buying, the DSP marketplace and data trends  

  • BS or MS degree and 3-5 years of experience in product management role with experience in the standard Software Development Life Cycle preferable.   

  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, strong ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment and skills in producing product requirements and user stories. 

  • Strong aptitude to manage controversial situations as well as influence positive, collaborative outcomes. 

  • Strong background in technology, media, and customer-facing solutions. 

  • Experience in a fast-paced software development environment preferred with demonstrated ability in managing multiple efforts simultaneously.
