Marketing Communications Coordinator - NYC Office 

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a creative, passionate, detail-oriented marketing communications professional to work with the Director of Marketing in expanding our communications strategies to our users and clients across all of our products, support, sales, and marketing efforts. 

This position requires an excellent understanding of effective communication strategies, the ability to take on new projects and build effective time management strategies, an openness to take on new challenges, collaborate as a team, and a strong commitment to articulating the company culture through communications. 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development & implementation of effective sales lead communication strategies & campaigns
  • Support communication strategies & tracking user communication & campaigns
  • Update, develop, and maintain communication automation processes
  • Contribute to the development of social media communications strategies
  • Participate in the development and implementation of automated communications campaigns to existing clients and leads
  • Participate in the development of account management communications (renewals, upgrades, cross sales)
  • Coordinate internal corporate communications via intranet/email/chat
  • Participate in the development of graphics & infographics related to data reports
  • Fully read and understand requirements and follow instructions for deliverables
  • Edit & Publish (to website, eLearning platform, & social media) industry-related news & reports
  • Participate in the development and design of case study, data reports, infographics, white papers, & success stories
  • Research and participate in the development of lead generating Pay-Per-Click ad campaigns
  • Participate in the creation of copy & graphics for lead-generation landing pages
  • Participate in the tracking, measurement, and testing of lead-generation landing pages and ad campaigns
  • Coordinate the development of eLearning platform resources and materials across departments
  • Update and maintain the eLearning platform content and materials
  • Assist the Director of Marketing in special projects that may be assigned to the Marketing team
  • Participate in the process of converting printed collateral to coordinated PowerPoint Presentations
  • Gain a working knowledge of all products & data services
  • Help to update content into CRM system

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years in marketing communications
  • Experience in marketing communication CRM systems (ie. Infusionsoft, SalesForce, etc.)
  • Experience in Wordpress content management
  • Excellent writing skills (emails, blogs, case study, white papers, etc)
  • Excellent ability to mirror company culture/personality in writing
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs (InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop)
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Understanding of the process for tracking and measuring ROI for events & ad campaigns
  • Basic understanding of Google AdWords (or other online advertising platform)
  • Excellent organizational and task management skills
  • Excellent self-management and time-management skills
  • Excellent follow-up and communication skills
  • Commitment to completing tasks within specified time frames and on schedule

Nice to Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or at least 3 years work experience in Marketing/Communications
  • Excellent graphic design/typesetting skills
