As Software Developer, Payment Services, you will be part of the CIO’s organization and work with various functional teams such as DevOps, QA, Fraud, and Customer Care. Together, we’ll work to improve the architecture and operation of Spokeo’s e-commerce and customer relationship solutions with scalable and performant code.

You will:
Develop internal applications and services that make Spokeo’s e-commerce site more reliable, scalable, and enjoyable for users
Work independently and with cross-functional Scrum teams to achieve regular sprint goals
Continue to embrace software development best practices such as TDD, documentation, design patterns, secure coding, and algorithmic optimization
You have:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or the equivalent years in software development experience
Open source technology such as Ruby on Rails, Python, Javascript, Rust, etc.
At least three (3) years of experience with software development related to online transaction processing (e.g. e-commerce payments, subscription management, CRM, fraud prevention, etc.) - helpful*
2+ years using both SQL and NoSQL database technologies
Strong foundation in object-oriented programming, algorithms, and data structures
Experience implementing and troubleshooting high-usage, high-throughput systems and services
Experience with cloud computing and infrastructure such as AWS required
Experience with services, microservices, and serverless environments a plus
Knowledge of agile methodology and Scrum framework
