Senior Product Designer

Product | Remote | Full Time

Job Description

Spokeo is a people search engine that both enlightens and empowers our customers. With over 14 billion records and 15 million visitors per month, we reconnect friends, reunite families, prevent fraud, and more.

We are looking for a great Senior Product Designer to join us. By joining our team you will tackle complex people data and transform it into beautifully designed products that help connect millions of people each month. You will work collaboratively with a team of talented designers and engineers to create experiences that are simple and delightful. You are hungry to mentor and develop yourself in all aspects of design, product, and leadership. You are comfortable working with a small team of designers, using boba as positive reinforcement, and partnering with peer functional leaders!

  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Development, and Marketing teams to solve design problems from beginning to end.

  • Create design requirements, wireframes, flow diagrams, product experience architecture, and high-quality mockups.

  • Transform countless UX and product ideas into designs that are engaging, innovative, and easy to understand.

  • Mentor other designers and raise the quality bar for the Spokeo design team.

  • Expand and elevate Spokeo design guidelines, patterns, and libraries. Understand global patterns and advocate for UX/UI consistency.

  • Obsess over the details. Work collaboratively with the engineering team to ensure that our users see exactly what you’d expect.

  • Present your work regularly. Give and receive feedback during design critique sessions.

  • You MUST provide a link to your portfolio (and password if applicable) to be considered for this role.

  • At least four (4) years of professional experience as a product designer. Create end-to-end product designs for multiple devices and platforms, guide team initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional partners.

  • A strong online portfolio that clearly outlines the design problems you encountered and the approach you used to solve them. Each project should include a detailed explanation of your design challenges and process, rather than focusing exclusively on visual design.

  • Excel at communicating clearly and honestly with team members, collaborating with others early and often, and driving both yourself and the design team to new heights.

  • Has successfully  shipped digital products that drive business growth and solve real users' problems

  • A strong foundation in UI/UX design, research, user flows, site architecture, and prototyping

  • Deep practical knowledge of user testing methodologies and ability to facilitate a human-focused design approach.

  • Proficient in visual, web design, and rapid prototyping tools such as Sketch, Framer, Figma, Axure, and the Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Think holistically, in a user-centric fashion, with a sharp eye for detail and consistency. Constantly hone the team’s instincts through user feedback and data insights.
