Customer Support / Dispatcher

Service Department | Rockaway, NJ | Full Time | From $17.00 to $19.00 per hour

About the Role:

We're looking for a confident, upbeat Dispatcher to join our team at Speer Air. You'll be the hub between our customers, technicians, and office keeping the day moving, schedules tight, and communication smooth. You'll be answering phones, dispatching techs, handling reschedules, and tackling admin tasks that keep our service department on track.

This is a fast-paced job. Phones ring constantly, priorities shift quickly, and you'll be dealing with everything from last-minute tech call-outs to emergency appointments. You need to stay calm, be quick on your feet, and keep your attitude in check-whether you're talking to a stressed-out customer or a frustrated technician.

You'll also be handling administrative tasks like mailing out customer service agreements, updating job records, and keeping the dispatch board current. If you're dependable, organized, and not afraid of chaos, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do:
- Answer a high volume of calls from customers and technicians
- Schedule and reschedule appointments as priorities shift
- Dispatch techs and adjust schedules when emergencies or call-outs happen
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with both customers and team members
- Mail service agreements and update customer records
- Track job progress, notes, and changes using service software
- Handle day-to-day administrative duties that support the service team

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays required
