POSITION:   Personal Care Home Administrator (TEMPORARY-PART-TIME POSITION)

Westmoreland Enhanced Personal Care Home-Greensburg, PA

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Coordinates and monitors the daily activities of the Enhanced Personal Care Home, implementing program operation, and supervision of assigned staff.
  2. Implements short- and long-term program goals ensuring compliance to all government rules, PA personal care home regulations, and agency policies and procedures.
  3. Oversees and manages all day-to-day operations of the Enhanced Personal Care facility.
  4. Monitors staff performance to ensure the delivery of quality personal care home-related services.
  5. Responsible for scheduling and evaluating all personal care home staff during their tenure.
  6. Prepares and submits all required correspondence, records, reports and documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
  7. Provides direct services including interviewing residents, facilitating resident groups, and on call for housing emergencies.
  8. Adheres to all policies, laws, regulations and codes of ethics and confidentiality as outlined by federal and state laws, and agency policies and procedures.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:       

  1. Active PA Personal Care Home Administrator license. A combination of skills, experience, and education may be considered at the discretion of the Agency.  
  2. Demonstrated knowledge of governmental program regulations and policies, and other social service providers available to eligible residents.
  3. Demonstrated ability to obtain vital information during a personal interview to make proper recommendations.
  4. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal staff, providers, and other social service agencies.
  5. Must successfully obtain Criminal History Clearance from PA State Police, Child Abuse Clearance from the PA Department of Human Services, and FBI Fingerprint Clearances.
  6. Must not be excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid, or any other federal health care program.  
  7. Ability to transport oneself and/or individuals in an insured vehicle, as program needs dictate.
