With a personal commitment and investment in ongoing learning and professional development, the successful candidate will support the Coaching Services Team to coordinate the coach growth opportunities and learning management system for our comprehensive, competency-based talent development program for leadership and executive coaches. The candidate will partner closely with the director of coach development to coordinate all Sounding Board sponsored learning events and with the director of coaching integrity to coordinate recruitment and hiring efforts of a global network of coaches. The candidate will also lead the implementation of a learning management system for Sounding Board, with the support of an external vendor, which will be leveraged by Sounding Board coaches and employees, customer company coaches, and other stakeholders identified over time.

The candidate will also partner closely with Sounding Board staff to successfully bridge the business side of the enterprise with the coaching side of the enterprise to align all of the organization’s functions with its commitment to being a coach-focused, leadership development organization. Through our talent development program, Sounding Board will maintain the highest caliber of coaches in the coaching industry and will provide consistent, quality coaching services across all tiers of leadership.


  • Lead the implementation of a learning management system for Sounding Board through partnership with an external vendor and direction from the leaders of the Coaching Services team

  • Upon implementation, maintain all of the content, organization, and structure of the learning management system to meet the ever evolving needs of the Coaching Services team

  • Coordinate all of the logistics for our comprehensive, competency-based talent development program for the global Sounding Board coach community, which is comprised of development opportunities for future Sounding Board coaches, coach onboarding training and supervision for newly contracted coaches, as well as continued professional development opportunities for our global community of contracted coaches

  • Coordinate the execution of an evaluation for all coach growth opportunities and regularly analyze the evaluation data collected to inform the development of future coach growth opportunities

  • Lead the coordination of logistics for our robust coach recruitment, interview, and hiring processes within the learning management system (and complementary systems), with direction and support from the director of coaching integrity

  • Provide support to coach applicants in navigating the learning management system as they go through the application and hiring process

  • Provide support to Sounding Board’s community of current and potential contracted coaches in identifying and participating in coach growth opportunities that meet their needs and navigating the learning management system

  • Coordinate the coach offboarding process for coaches leaving the organization

  • Coordinate relationships with external stakeholders and entities to bolster our talent development opportunities for coaches

  • Provide support to the director of coach development in continuous quality improvement efforts for of all developed and existing coach growth opportunities


  • Bachelor’s degree related to or relevant to adult learning and development

  • 3-5 years experience in coordinating adult learning and development experiences in a professional setting

  • 3-5 years experience working within and innovating within a learning management system

  • 3-5 years experience providing customer service to a variety of personalities


  • Demonstrated experience working within the Google and Microsoft Office Suite of products (e.g., Gmail, Google calendar, Google sites, Google slides, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Experience building trusted relationships with peers, colleagues, senior leaders, and customers

  • Ability to manage challenging customer experiences while staying calm under pressure

  • Knowledge of the professional coaching industry and (preferred) experience working with professional coaches

  • Demonstrated experience successfully planning and managing projects and programs of all sizes

  • Experience managing complex projects and demonstrated ability to achieve success both independently and through others

  • Ability to function strategically as well as tactically to successfully manage projects

  • Ability to identify and execute process improvements

  • Ability to work in team environment with collaboration across multiple functions, fostering collaboration and teamwork

  • Ability to work from a home office and with a dispersed team across multiple time zones

  • Excellent verbal, written, and oral skills

  • Dependable, positive, and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills

  • Strong decision-making, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in high growth or early stage startups and an ability to learn and adapt quickly
