Summary
We are looking for a GraphQL and API Integration Developer to help build and deliver a modern, federated GraphQL API that exposes data from existing enterprise systems. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on API development, integration, and collaboration within an agile team.
What You Will Do
Build and maintain GraphQL APIs using ASP.NET Core and the Hot Chocolate framework
Implement federated GraphQL subgraphs integrating multiple backend systems
Work with relational data sources, primarily PostgreSQL
Develop containerized services using Docker and deploy to Kubernetes with Helm
Integrate secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2 and Entra
Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and code reviews
What We Are Looking For
3+ years of software engineering experience
Production experience with GraphQL APIs
Strong C# and ASP.NET Core background
Strong SQL/relational database background, PostgreSQL preferred
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud native development
Comfortable working in Agile, sprint based teams
Strongly Preferred
Experience with GraphQL federation
Experience with ChilliCream Hot Chocolate
Knowledge of API security, schema governance, or observability
Experience working with document based data formats such as XML or PDF
