Responsibilities:
The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading all commercial and marketing operations in their assigned country. They will oversee the local sales and marketing team, being accountable for meeting the sales budget, managing the country’s P&L, developing business relationships with retailers, and executing brand and visibility strategies. Will work with leading brands such as Nintendo, Roku, Electronic Arts (EA), Activision, and Rockstar, among others.
- Act as the main point of contact for all sales and marketing-related areas in the country.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration with regional teams and key accounts to develop sustainable commercial strategies.
- Be an expert in the product portfolio of the assigned brands, as well as in the market, competition, and industry trends.
- Develop and oversee the country’s annual sales plan and budget.
- Coordinate with marketing to plan annual retail activities and promotional campaigns.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports with indicators such as sell-in, sell-thru, market share, pricing, and competition.
- Lead local sales and marketing activities, as well as manage the country team.
- Coordinate with Brand Marketing and Trade Marketing teams to localize and effectively implement global strategies.
- Properly execute all promotional and visibility actions at the point of sale.
- Develop and execute consumer events and market activation activities.
- Maintain strategic relationships with key retailers and clients.
- Coordinate with Finance, Operations, HR, and Procurement on cross-functional matters.
- Be responsible for commercial planning and country-level reporting.
Requirements:
- University degree in Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in senior sales positions.
- Previous experience in FMCG, technology, or electronics (desirable).
- Proven experience leading teams.
- Strong knowledge of trade marketing, branding, sales analysis, and retail advertising.
- Ability to build strong business relationships with various stakeholders.
- Understanding of key P&L drivers.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Organizational skills, strategic mindset, and results-oriented approach.
- Advanced level of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Bilingual: Spanish and English (mandatory).
