Scope:
The Regional Director of Logistics and Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing logistics and operational activities across multiple countries in Latin America, including Mexico, Miami (USA), Colombia, Peru, Chile, and Argentina. This position will provide strategic leadership to local operations teams, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and excellence in execution. Brazil will remain under the Head of Operations for one more fiscal cycle but may be transitioned in the future.
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate logistics and operations across the assigned countries in the LATAM region.
Directly manage the country operations leaders in Mexico, Miami, Colombia, Peru, Chile, and Argentina.
Ensure high performance and alignment with regional goals across all operational teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
Develop and implement regional strategies that support business growth, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a matrix structure, maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor compliance with international logistics standards and regional regulations.
Represent the region in strategic discussions with senior leadership.
Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and key performance metrics for the region.
Requirements
10 to 15 years of experience in logistics and operations, with a strong background in international and regional supply chains.
Proven experience leading teams across multiple countries or regions.
Solid experience reporting within a matrix organizational structure.
Prior experience at the Director level, or a strong senior manager ready to step into a director role.
Strong understanding of international logistics operations and regulatory environments in Latin America.
Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus but not mandatory).
Master’s degree in business administration, Logistics, or a related field.
Possession of a valid U.S. visa.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% within the USA and Latin America.
