Keep our Louisville operation moving!
If you are the person who wants to know why something stopped—and enjoys getting it running again—this could be your next move. Solutions 2 GO is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep the equipment and facility systems in our Louisville distribution center safe, reliable and ready for action.
You will work in a one-shift distribution center, giving you the chance to build strong working relationships with the team you support and stay close to the equipment you maintain. This position is also eligible for the Company’s bonus program.
What you will do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation systems, packaging equipment, conveyors and dock equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and production machinery
- Inspect and support warehouse and facility systems, including lighting, fire alarm and sprinkler systems, structural components, HVAC, electrical, network and pneumatic systems
- Help maintain key maintenance programs, including preventive maintenance, spare-parts inventory, technical manuals, HAZMAT inventory, lockout and tagout, and OSHA site inspections
- Fabricate metal parts and equipment when an in-house solution can improve speed or reduce cost
- Use hand and power tools, electrical meters and material-handling equipment safely and effectively
- Provide technical support and repairs for laser, direct thermal, thermal-transfer and inkjet printers
- Follow safety requirements and keep work areas clean, organized and ready for the next job
What you bring
- At least three years of industrial maintenance experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical drives, conveyors and sorters
- The ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions safely, accurately and efficiently
- Confidence using technical manuals, schematics and other reference materials to determine the right course of action
- Familiarity with OSHA requirements and safe work practices
A plus but not required
- Experience with motor controls and three-phase 480-volt circuits
