Job Objective:

To efficiently manage and coordinate import operations by ensuring compliance with customs regulations, optimizing logistics processes, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Import Analyst will serve as a key liaison between internal departments and external partners to guarantee timely and cost-effective international shipments, supporting the company’s supply chain and business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical knowledge in managing foreign trade operations

  • Management of multimodal customs import operations

  • Planning and coordination of import clearance

  • Managing account funding

  • Collection and submission of import documents (invoices, packing lists, certificates, and various customs formats)

  • Preparation of reports and internal files for various departments: Finance, Sales, Distribution Centers, etc.

  • Keeping the arrivals report updated

  • Monitoring legislative changes to ensure compliance with import regulations (Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions)

  • Requesting quotes from freight forwarders and customs brokers

  • Door-to-door shipment tracking

  • Reviewing customs broker and international freight expense accounts

  • Meeting Import Operations KPIs regarding timelines and volume targets

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Foreign Trade, or International Business.
  • Language: English – 80% proficiency (mandatory)
  • Preferred Experience: 3–5 years in import and export operations.
