This is a remote position for candidates who live within the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Nevada, Texas, Utah, Washington.
Scope:
The Account Manager, US Sales is responsible for developing and implementing the company’s direct sales and marketing initiatives to drive growth and profitability. This role focuses on sustaining and expanding revenue and profit margins across major and independent accounts, ensuring alignment with the company’s business strategy, goals, and objectives. The Account Manager will also track and analyze key performance indicators, including revenue growth, profit margins, customer relationships, and new business opportunities, providing essential support to the Vice President, Sales and Senior Director, Sales.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple accounts while developing positive working relationships with all customer touch points
- Work closely with Account Managers on day-to-day operational processes including set-up, assets, trafficking, optimization, troubleshooting, and QA
- Experts in retail systems
- Provide the necessary support to sales associates to enable them to generate market leads and close new deals
- Develop and implement new programs, sales initiatives and strategies to capture key demographics
- Document customer interactions and maintain data related to activities, accounts and partners
- Design cross-selling programs and campaigns
- Develop and maintain channels between product developers and resellers
- Net profit and ROI reviews by account with finance and ops
- Weekly forecasting updates by retailer and product line vs budget to ensure inventory and purchasing needs
- Retail item set up confirmation and process implementation
- Work closely with Sales and Operations on analytics and planning to determine root causes for customer success or failure and drive requirements for product or process enhancement and development as needed
- Alignment with operations on forecasts, POD process, bundle needs and returns
- Net profit and ROI reviews by account with finance and ops
- Customer Service alignment and clear process on orders and returns
- Partner with internal cross-functional teams (WWD, Digital, Mobility) to understand customer goals and key performance metrics and exceed those goals throughout the campaign
- IT needs lead and liaison
- Leverage technical tools and quantitative data to manage campaigns to success, high customer satisfaction and renewal
- Prepare campaign insights reporting, including analysis and research
- Manage weekly retail status documents for review
- Manage customer activity with CRM tools for maximum efficiency and visibility, with carefully executed follow-up to closure on open issues
- Adhere to established processes and workflows, as it relates to campaign set-up and pixel placement strategy, creative execution, ad trafficking, campaign management and any troubleshooting necessary, creative assets and campaign reporting·
- Provide input on new processes and workflows as needed
- Focus on ensuring we maintain superior customer service levels, operational excellence and strategic insight
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers and vendors through planned individual account visits, support, and good customer service
- Manage smaller and new accounts
- Develop and oversee customer business reviews, sales proposals, responses to request for proposals for both existing and new customers
- Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys
- Liaise and attend meetings and trade shows or other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and the organizational development
- Management of account and product specific Price Protection and MDF process though Finance and Central Service Manager
Skills & Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is strongly preferred; equivalent work experience will also be considered
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, forecasting, or a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and draw meaningful insights
- Proficiency in (Tableau, Power BI, or Excel)
- Knowledge of forecasting methodologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
