The role:

As an Account Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to work with major brand advertisers in the fast-paced, online travel-advertising environment. You will play a critical role within the company through hands-on management of advertiser campaigns, driving renewals and upsells while developing and maintaining our partner relationships.

You will be the day-to-day contact leading existing digital advertising relationships for several key clients in Latin America, significantly influencing our commercial success in the region. This will primarily entail:

  • Applying a consultative approach to understanding your client’s goals and pain points, and presenting solutions that help their partnership with Sojern succeed.

  • Driving renewals, upsells and cross-selling of new products

  • Coordinating with sales, ad operations, and clients to ensure that campaigns launch on time and are successfully set-up to and exceed client’s goals

  • In collaboration with AdOps, analyzing campaign performance and providing recommendations that prioritize client satisfaction and maintain Sojern profitability

  • Providing campaign and traveller audience targeting strategies, and brainstorming new ideas and concepts to ‘wow ‘and grow current clients

  • Leading and delivering post-campaign analyses, reviews, and insights

  • With the support of our Insights Team, on a quarterly basis presenting deep, insights-driven recommendations on how best to optimize your clients’ digital advertising budgets

  • In collaboration with Sales, creating and executing six-month account plans

  • Staying up-to-date on LATAM’s Travel Industry, Programmatic Media, and Media Agency industries, news and trends such that you can effectively navigate our landscape and position yourself as a trusted partner for colleagues and clients alike

What you bring to the table:

  • You can confidently carry out client calls, meetings and deliver client presentations in Spanish

  • You have a solid understanding of the online advertising industry from having worked in it for 2-3 years in an account management or commercial role

  • You have a genuine desire to connect with clients at a personal and professional level (Clients are people too!)

  • You look forward to traveling 1-2 times per quarter to visit clients in Mexico and Colombia, and potentially other LATAM countries

  • You possess great time management, communication and organizational skills

  • You have experience working directly with clients in Latin America and have lived the region’s business culture

  • You’re empathetic, humble, energetic, comfortable owning-up to your mistakes (we all make them!) and solutions oriented with a positive/can-do attitude!

  • You have experience working within DBM or other DSP’s

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in anything

  • While not required, great if you have experience working with DSP’s and 3rd party ad servers

  • Opportunities: Be part of a growing team with training and support to help you grow

  • Ownership: Lead creative and challenging projects

  • Give Back: We give 40 hours a year to volunteer and organize office volunteer programs with local organizations

  • Culture: Strong core business values, focus on teamwork, vibrant, social and fun environment

  • Snacks: Variety of snacks in the office

  • Meals: Monthly catered lunches & happy hours

  • Wealth: Stock options

  • Time Off: Flexible vacation days
