Sojern’s Latin America team is looking for an outgoing, fun and experienced online advertising sales professional with demonstrated success developing and managing a team of experienced Sellers to achieve sales growth goals. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in travel and digital media, competitive, a team player, service-oriented and a strategic thinker with the ability to contribute to all aspects of the business, and have fun while doing so.
You will have the opportunity to work directly with hoteliers and agencies supporting these clients in the fast-paced, online travel-advertising environment. You will play a critical role within the company by helping close and leading the team in charge of closing new properties and hotel groups, nurturing and developing these relationships for future sales, and coaching/supporting your team of sellers to deliver our growth objectives.
Grow our digital media book of business in LATAM’s small and medium hotel and attractions market to achieve net revenue goals
Develop and execute a sound strategy for winning new business that fuels future growth in the region
Support your team in developing and executing quarterly plans that align with said strategy, address client needs/pain points, and include revenue goals, selling tactics, product mix goals and customer touch points/events.
Forecast new account wins and net revenue from said new account wins with high accuracy; Develop timely action plans that address any forseeable gaps to goal
Collaborate cross-functionally to develop relevant advertising programs for key clients in LATAM
Deliver persuasive presentations and stories that demonstrate the value of Sojern to marketers and drive sales.
Present and meet prospective clients at travel and digital media industry events and client conferences
Lead, mentor, help and inspire a team of expert sellers in achieving aggressive financial goals
Establish the Sojern brand as a leading top-of-mind solution among LATAM’s small and medium hotel and attractions market
Customer focus/relationship building
What you bring to the table:
Ten years of post-college workplace experience in digital media sales
Experience working in or selling to the hospitality/travel industry
Professionally fluent in Spanish; Portuguese a plus
Solid understanding of programmatic media, RTB, Display and Search
Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in standard business and sales software and Salesforce/CRM
Willingness to travel
