The role:

Sojern is looking for a Senior Account Manager to add to our Enterprise Solutions Commercial team and support our continued expansion across Asia-Pacific.

As a Senior Account Manager based in Singapore, you will have the opportunity to work with major brands/advertisers on their performance and/or brand-based campaigns and influence their online travel-related advertising strategy.

You must be extremely organized, have a confident voice, be able to delegate, and keep up with a lot of moving tasks, all while ensuring you are achieving commercial success with your book of business. This role will also potentially oversee Account/Associate Account Managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Sales and Ad Operations to address your clients’ needs and ensure their advertising campaigns are successfully launched and managed to meet goals and objectives

  • Partner with Sales to provide high-quality client servicing centered around flexibility, choice and education using Sojern’s product capabilities

  • Provide account and campaign strategies through optimisations/recommendations during reporting/presentations and/or client quarterly business reviews to drive upsells and client renewal/retention

  • Work closely with your internal teams on day-to-day operational processes to ensure larger, high-impact strategic improvement - with special focus on our business across Asia

  • Establish self as a go-to leader within the Asia-Pacific and broader Sojern team

    • Demonstrate expertise in Sojern’s products, procedures and your client base in Asia

    • Provide coaching and mentoring to peers and new hires

    • Present and share internal best practices while driving innovation and refinements to existing tools and processes

    • Position self as subject matter expert in one or more areas

    • Serve as thought partner to Sales counterpart(s) - creating and executing vertical plans and strategic initiatives for your clients

 

What You Bring To The Table:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field (Accounting, Marketing, Communications, or Finance a plus)

  • 3-5 years ad-tech industry and account management experience

  • Developed working knowledge of online advertising programmatic technology -- including ad server technologies, demand-side platforms (DoubleClick DART for Publishers, MediaMind, Sizmek, Atlas, Turn, AppNexus, Mediamath), etc

  • Strong analytical abilities to identify key results and solutions that achieve commercial and operational objectives

  • Meticulously detail-oriented, exceptional organisational skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects

  • Willing to wear multiple hats and roll up your sleeves to get the job done

  • Great team-player spirit - ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including public presentations/client-facing experiences

  • Ability and comfort with presenting concepts and/or to gain support at the senior level of an organisation

  • Developed skills using MS Excel, Powerpoint and Google applications

  • Demonstrated leadership and innovation capabilities at scale

  • Experience with recruiting/interviews, team building and employee development and/or managing an individual/team

  • Experience with other systems (Salesforce, Tableau, Slack, etc)

  • Professional oral and written proficiency in one or more local language in Asia (Thai, Bahasa, Japanese, etc)
