About the role:

Sojern is seeking a passionate go-getter with an interest in developing warm customer leads and evangelizing Sojern’s product offerings in the marketplace.  Experience in digital and programmatic advertising is a big advantage and additional sales experience within the online travel industry is desirable.

The Sales Manager, SEA will manage the development of Sojern’s existing client base within Singapore & SEA including: some regional hotel groups, tourism boards and attractions and is also responsible for initiating and developing new business across the SEA.

 

The ideal candidate will be a strategic, creative thinker with the ability to work independently and also assist the Sales Director and wider sales team in communicating Sojern’s solutions to market via relevant relationships and strong selling skills.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in creating, developing and managing the holistic advertising business across Singapore & SEA.

  • Develop strategic relationships with both direct clients and agencies.

  • Work cross-functionally with other members of the APAC Sales team.

  • Work closely with the in house Account Management team to ensure the optimisation and optimum delivery of campaigns.

  • Assist with the creation of persuasive presentations and stories that demonstrate the value of Sojern to target marketers within the SEA region

  • Support Sales team in marketing function, such as distributing collaterals and organizing events for clients & agencies

  • Meet agreed set revenue targets

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in promoting & selling digital advertising solutions.

  • Experience in the ad-tech industry.

  • Solid understanding of programmatic advertising, RTB/SEM, attribution modelling, etc. is essential.

  • Business experience in the local & SEA markets, with strong digital marketing contacts.

  • Consultative sales approach; intuitive with an engaging personality.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit; exhibits strong self-management and sense of urgency.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills.

  • Ability to travel across the APAC region and to the US on occasion.

 

Bonus:

  • Existing contacts in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia with either media agencies or direct clients.

  • Appropriate experience, digital contacts within the travel sector is a huge plus

  • An additional Asian language would be desirable.
