You will be a sales hungry experienced media sales professional with demonstrable success in developing, growing and managing online advertising accounts within the Travel and Online Advertising Industry. You will have a strong background in digital media sales and want to become part of a fast growing successful team.
You will manage the development of some of Sojern’s existing key strategic clients as well as initiating and developing new business with a strong focus on the UK.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic, creative thinker with the ability to work cross-functionally to develop scalable advertising product solutions for the category and assist in bringing these solutions to market via relevant relationships and superb selling skills.
You must have strong analytical and interpersonal skills, presentation and public speaking experience. The candidate must have a very strong understanding of ad-tech and more specifically display advertising, data-driven solutions and audience targeting. Grow revenue with existing strategic clients/agencies and acquire, develop and retain new clients.
Play a key role in developing and managing the advertising business for a limited number of very strategic, major travel brands with a strong focus on those operating in the UK.
Work cross-functionally with the rest of the sales team, product teams and US and Asian counterparts to develop relevant products and solutions for key client targets and their agencies.
Meet agreed revenue targets
Work closely with the in-house account managers/analysts to ensure the optimisation and optimum delivery of campaigns
What you bring to the table
3+ Years experience in business development selling online media solutions
Experience in the ad-tech industry with a solid understanding of performance marketing, RTB/SEM, attribution modelling, etc. is essential.
Appropriate experience, digital contacts within the travel sector is a huge plus
Consultative sales approach; intuitive with an engaging personality
Entrepreneurial spirit; exhibits strong self-management and sense of urgency.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively with a cross-departmental team.
Exceptional writing and presentation creation skills.
Strong MS PowerPoint and Excel skills.
