The Role:

The Sales Director role will be in-charge of leading the existing sales and sales development representative team based in Singapore. This role will be a critical component to the overall success of the Sales team by leading, developing and hiring for our Property Solutions team.  The ideal candidate should be a seasoned sales & marketing professional from the Hospitality and eCommerce industry.



  • Manage a team comprising of sales & sales development representatives, driving performance & pipeline management and achieving monthly, quarterly and annual goals, report on sales metrics and suggest improvements.

  • Collaborate with account managers to ensure smooth handover on new campaigns, effective QBRs and continue to monitor campaign success for learning and driving efficiencies.

  • Negotiate and secure insertion orders on behalf of Sojern Ltd to achieve set business goals through commercial terms that include commission levels and advantageous upselling opportunities.

  • Direct, train, motivate team and be the point-of-contact for escalation issues.

  • Guide and lead the team through process improvements

  • Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products

  • Research and discover (& effectively implement) methods to increase customer engagement and retention.

  • Keep abreast of any regional hotel electronic distribution and marketing trends:  new, emerging or changing.


What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum of 6 years experience managing a sales team.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to speak fluent English and additional language a bonus.

  • Proven & excellent negotiating skills, understand industry contracts and negotiations specifically to hotels and/or eCommerce industry..  

  • Understanding of online performance marketing an advantage

  • Proven track record of exceeding goals and contributing to team success.

  • Strong desire to succeed, a collaborative team player and self-starter who thrives in a team environment.

  • Relationships with independent, boutique hotels & regional chains preferred.

  • Ability to communicate at all levels, both internal and external

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

  • Salesforce experience preferred.

  • This position will require occasional travel.
