The Job:

Sojern is looking for a dynamic Recruiter (six month contract) to assist our incredible Recruiting and People Operations Team. We are a rapidly growing company and we want you to be part of this amazing growth and expansion. Singapore is our APAC office and you will support the local team in regards to Recruiting and People Operations. We have an incredible product and exceptional employees. This is the place to be! We are looking for a Recruiter that can help us take our Recruiting Team’s efforts in APAC to the next level. We work hard to deliver exceptional service to our candidates and employees. Whether it’s working with our sales leader to source awesome candidates for our current openings, interviewing, or looking for the next great idea to reach top talent- you’re on it!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead full life cycle recruiting for the APAC region covering positions across multiple disciplines: sourcing, pre-screening, face-to-face interviews, selection and reference checking. Functional focus would primarily be on sales, account management, analytics, and technical operations.

  • Work collaboratively with hiring managers to understand business objectives, role requirements and desired candidate’s profiles.

  • Source amazing candidates! You are a wizard at finding great talent and getting them excited about us.

  • Manage flow of candidates through the recruitment process. From reviewing resumes, performing interviews, reference checks, to bringing employees on board.

  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the Applicant Tracking System.

  • Assist in providing creative recruiting tactics to attract candidates.

  • Successfully represent our culture throughout the hiring process.



  • You are a recruiting Superstar!

  • You have a minimum 3-5 years’ recruitment experience either as a contractor or in a full-time capacity, ideally from the software or media industry

  • You are an expert in using LinkedIn Recruiter and sourcing

  • You have subject matter expertise in technology recruiting

  • You can strike up a conversation with anyone and have a great sense of humor

  • You are all about hospitality and making sure our candidates have a great interview experience

  • You are diligent about keeping hiring managers informed of candidate and process status

  • You never share secrets. Confidentiality is key to this role and in People Ops

  • You have amazing organizational and time management skills

  • You are an expert with Applicant Tracking Systems (Jobscore or Jobvite) and Gmail

  • You have an extremely high sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, dynamic environment with a strong attention to detail

  • You have an outstanding focus on achieving a high level of customer service and organization

  • You have demonstrated the ability to handle multiple tasks with little or no supervision

  • You can interact with employees at all levels of the organization

  • Start-up experience is preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required

  • Fluency in English is a must

  • Eligibility to work in Singapore
