Who are you?

You are an experienced product marketing manager with deep knowledge of advertising technology, specifically mobile and cross-device identification. You have formed your own point of view on where advertising is headed and how to deliver successful products in a rapidly changing ecosystem. You have worked collaboratively with sales and product teams to rollout successful products in the past, and have a strong reputation as a go-to-market expert. You own your rollouts, and don’t let details fall through the cracks.

 

You are a great writer. You explain things well and know how to deliver a great presentation. You are a natural problem solver, have a “no excuses” mentality and generally maintain a positive outlook when difficulties arise.

 

You know how to properly define product solutions that address real customer pain. You know how to craft features and benefits (and know how they are different from one another).  You think in terms of speaking to real enterprise customers, addressing objections of the different personas along the sales cycle. You communicate expertly to explain and to convince. Maybe you have an MBA, or perhaps you’ve just naturally developed a strong business acumen along the way. You probably have around 3-5 years of recent product marketing experience, working for a DSP, DMP, trading desk, or other demand-side technology provider. More likely than not, you graduated from a rigorous undergraduate academic program with good marks.

 

What will you be doing?

  • You will own the product rollouts for one or two major product lines as part of our Enterprise Solutions product team (reporting to product, not marketing). Your end-to-end product lifecycle management responsibilities will include: stakeholder management, customer feedback, alpha/beta programs, product messaging, rollout/go-to-market strategy, and ongoing support in-market

  • You will interface directly with commercial teams: GMs, sales leaders, account managers, partner managers and advertising customers directly, collaborating on potential solutions and gathering feedback for new products and product features

  • You will participate and help lead at least one cross-functional team, comprised of leaders from multiple disciplines within the company, focused on the ongoing success of the product(s) you support

 

You will be:

  • Data-driven and results-oriented

  • Experienced in agile development methodologies

  • Exceptionally good at authentically understanding the needs of our customers, and representing those needs in the form of concrete market requirements, release documents and rollout materials

  • Self-motivated; exhibiting strong self-management and a sense of urgency

  • Able to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with other people and departments in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • An exceptionally strong writer and presenter

  • Able to get things done amid tight time constraints

  • Willing to travel occasionally (international and domestic)

 

You will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Strong preference given for marketing or other business undergraduate degrees (BS, BBA). An MBA is highly desirable

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years as a product marketing manager in mobile ad tech with strong knowledge of programmatic advertising and audience data

  • Samples of product rollouts that you have personally managed, or the ability to otherwise demonstrate personal excellence in this area
