We’re looking for a creative and results-driven Strategic Accounts Marketing Manager who will build marketing relationships with our strategic partners across the hospitality sector and drive the execution of high-impact co-marketing programs that increase brand awareness for Sojern and deliver new property signups. You’ll envision our programs from the ground up -- including tactics like email and direct mail as well as strategic thought leadership initiatives like events and joint whitepapers -- and create materials to help guide our partners through the process. You’ll work closely with our Sales, Business Development, Analytics, and Creative teams to define strategic accounts co-marketing objectives, execute multiple programs simultaneously, and measure success. The ideal candidate will have a background in marketing strategy, planning and execution, along with the ability to build strong relationships with our most important partners. This role reports to the Director of Marketing Ops & Demand Generation and is based in San Francisco or Omaha. This is an exciting opportunity where you will work on one of our most important initiatives with immediate impact and visibility with the executive team.
Own Strategic Accounts Marketing Plan: Build the strategy, set goals, and manage execution and results of partner-specific marketing programs.
Content Development and Communication Skills: You’ll create and deliver compelling content that helps sell in our partner marketing vision and inspires our strategic accounts teams to action. You’ll earn the trust of our most important partners in communicating successfully with their customers base. You’ll develop co-marketing communications and marketing programs to reach prospective customers and clearly articulate our value proposition.
Program Measurement and Optimization: Track the effectiveness of our partner campaigns and use best practices to optimize results across partners.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Manage projects involving multiple stakeholders across Sales, Product, Creative, etc.
Analysis: Review performance of each campaign and performance overall to identify areas in need of improvement and report findings to the greater Strategic Accounts team as well as the Marketing team.
Learning and Growth: Proactively stay ahead of digital marketing best practices, strategies, and industry standards.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
4+ years of relevant work experience in partner or sales marketing (preferably in a high growth B2B environment)
You are intellectually curious, an original thinker, and possess a strategic mindset
You enjoy building relationships, being accountable for deadlines and following-up with partners
Experience working with creative and marketing operations teams to develop content and collateral
Experience driving campaigns with multiple stakeholders to completion while achieving the goals for each particular campaign and the program overall
Understanding on how to measure success of multi-pronged campaigns
