The Role:

Sojern is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Team Manager with demonstrated success developing, managing and growing an inside sales team across multiple European markets.  The Inside Sales Team Manager will primarily manage employees development and will support the adoption of our Sojern’s RevDirect commissionable program, utilising unique data from our multitude of travel partners selling the solution into independent hotels across EMEA region. The position is full-time and the candidate will be based in Dublin, Ireland.

The ideal candidate will be a strong people manager and leader, motivational, a creative thinker with the ability to work cross-functionally to develop scalable advertising solutions for our clients and assist in bringing these solutions to market.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 12 inside sales people, driving performance & pipeline management and achieving weekly, monthly and quarterly KPIs report on sales metrics and suggest improvements

  • Collaborate with account managers to ensure smooth handover on new wins, effective QBRs and continue to monitor campaign success for learning and driving efficiencies

  • Negotiate and secure insertion orders on behalf of Sojern Intl Ltd to achieve set business goals through commercial terms that include commission levels and advantageous upselling opportunities

  • Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process

  • Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products

  • Research and discover (& effectively implement) methods to increase customer engagement and retention

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing Inside Sales teams

  • Ability to speak fluently English - additional European language a plus

  • Proven & excellent negotiating skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work within a highly motivated and success driven team

  • Ability to communicate at all levels, both internal and external

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively

  • Ability to manage change in a startup environment

  • Proven disposition to pivot on short notice and still deliver on desired outcome(s)

  • Salesforce experience preferred

 

Bonus:

  • Relationships with independent, boutique hotels & regional chains preferred but not essential

  • Experience in the Hotel/Travel Industry specifically hotel and/or ecommerce experience a plus
