We are seeking a dynamic Program Manager to execute against Sojern’s Property Solutions Business Unit to help us launch new global markets and drive new product adoption through our teams around the world. As the Program Manager, you will be helping our product and commercial teams ensure we are localizing our offerings for hoteliers and destinations across Latin America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.


You will be based out of our San Francisco headquarters, with connections to our offices in Omaha, New York, London, Dublin, Paris, Sydney, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Dubai and Singapore. You will report into the VP Product, Property Solutions.

Our Property Solutions team drives direct demand for individual hoteliers, destination, and convention and visitors bureaus while increasing revenue and customer connections. Sojern is a global company, working with top travel brands and independent hotels in North America, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and APAC.


What will you be doing?

  • Working closely with product leads to ensure that products are developed to meet regional needs

  • Owning and driving the overall translations prioritization process for our customer facing applications, support materials, and go-to-market collateral

  • Working with the ad operations team to define and document a clear process for localization of ad copy, content, and digital assets across sem, mobile, display, facebook, video, native and meta-search

  • Coordinating with product, marketing, and commercial leaders in Dublin, Singapore, and Omaha to ensure cross-functional alignment and smooth product rollouts

  • Researching market specific payment methods, collection compliance, and liasoning with legal and finance teams to ensure a coordinated approach and defined processes

  • Evangelizing global needs for internal teams and customers across the property solutions organization

  • Managing multiple workstreams, driving prioritization, ensuring timely execution, and effectively communicating to cross-functional stakeholders

  • Researching global and local vendors in the online advertising and travel technology space for potential partnership opportunities


You will be great at:

  • Building, maintaining and circulating project plans/timelines

  • Working with teammates, customers, and partners from different cultures and backgrounds to execute against shared goals

  • Communicating - in both written and oral form - to engage our internal teams on product knowledge and positioning as well as external stakeholders around the world to understand their needs and drive product adoption  

  • Prioritizing - you will take a methodical approach into prioritizing needs and will take into account competitive advantages, process improvements, strategic imperatives and growth in business opportunity

  • Understanding and addressing customer needs

  • Self-motivation; exhibiting strong self-management and a sense of urgency

  • Exercising a test and learn mentality and exhibiting strong analytical skills


You will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.  Master’s degree preferred

  • 6 years+ experience of relevant project management, program management and/or  product marketing

  • Relevant experience localizing applications or online marketing across multiple countries and languages

  • Experience working with hoteliers, destinations, management companies, and/or technology providers.

  • Experience in online travel, travel-tech, and/or programmatic advertising

  • WIllingness to travel domestically and internationally (~25% of the time)
