The Role:

You are an experienced product marketing professional looking to grow your career in a broad-based, hands-on leadership role. You are equal parts shrewd business analyst and creative storyteller; you can translate a market assessment into compelling, differentiated, and memorable narratives for any product. You are naturally drawn to the digital marketing industry and can capably explain technical concepts without relying on buzzwords.  You embrace a role with a high degree of measurable accountability.  You have built a career deeply understanding the critical relationship between sales and marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the product marketing team.

  • Build Value Proposition, Messaging and positioning for targeted segments

  • Ecosystem and competitive market analysis

  • Persona development and persona-based marketing

  • Lead go-to-market strategy for new product launches

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, and Sales to define and deliver on a comprehensive product marketing plan that delivers on business goals

  • Help write and execute the go-to-market playbook

  • Ensure our product messaging is consistent across marketing channels

  • Develop and land high impact, customer-facing marketing and sales enablement tools.

  • Partner with Product Management and Sales to define market requirements for future product roadmaps

  • Collaborate with other marketing teams (e.g. demand general, pr, events) to drive and execute on global marketing initiatives

  • Represent the product portfolio externally, as an expert and evangelist

What you bring to the table:  

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing or product marketing, with 3+ years experience in digital advertising, B2B sales & marketing, and SaaS platforms

  • Deep knowledge of the travel industry and travel marketing

  • Experienced people manager

  • Passionate storyteller with strong communications and writing skills

  • Strong experience executing creative go-to-market strategies that go beyond standard tactics.

  • Strategic thinker who loves to think creatively, but who can also roll up their sleeves and get things done.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and high EQ

  • Track record of success partnering with Product and Sales organizations to drive measurable demand and lead generation outcomes

  • Ability to craft messaging targeting various buyer personas

  • Generally technically savvy and capable to become an expert product user

  • B.S. or B.A. in Marketing
