The Job:

Sojern is looking for a dynamic leader to manage our US Tourism and LATAM account management teams.  This position will partner with our Tourism and LATAM sales leaders on sales and account strategy, supervise a team of account managers and be responsible for delivering the highest level of client success.  You and your team will manage and influence some of the largest Tourism and LATAM accounts in the world including Disney, Universal Studios, Seaworld, Texas Tourism, Melia and Hard Rock Hotels.  To thrive, candidates must be able to build and develop a team, establish trust-based client relationships and have deep experience in online media including performance based, programmatic advertising.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 10+ account managers focused on the US Tourism vertical and LATAM region across multiple offices.

  • Transition the AM team from a technical, console focus to one that is more client facing and influential with renewals, upselling and cross-selling.

  • Partner with the Tourism and LATAM GMs and sellers on sales, account and campaign strategy.

  • Oversee the successful campaign management of performance based advertising campaigns.

  • Lead the hiring, onboarding, development and mentoring of a growing team.

  • Drive innovation and process improvement to generate efficiencies for Sojern and our clients.

  • Provide leadership to the broader Ad Ops team within the SF office.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.

  • 7+ years industry, Account Management and job-related experience.  Ad trafficking and campaign optimization experience preferred.

  • Experience hiring and managing a team for 5+ years.

  • Experience managing and influencing high profile clients.

  • Capability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Ability to interpret business partner and client objectives, identify next steps and execute with minimal supervision.

  • Technical skills include experience with at least one DSP, Salesforce.com and MS Office applications.  DBM and Tableau experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication and organization skills.

  • Proven track record of exceeding expectations.

  • Willing to travel.
