The Role: 

Do you have a proven track record of success in designing highly engaging digital advertising creative? Are you passionate about using data and performance insights to inform and guide improvements in future design and messaging optimizations? Do you love everything related to travel and ad technology? Our team is looking for a Creative Manager in charge of developing impactful creative strategies across digital media formats and channels (display, search, video, social, etc). The Creative Manager is a critical role at Sojern, responsible for leading the creative ad design team in production,  implementation of comprehensive and scalable creative best practices, and using creative design expertise paired with data insights to drive the strategy and performance improvements for our customers.



  • Lead the ideation, prioritization, design, and approval process for all creative production and testing

  • Establish and set quality standards and quality control of creatives across channels - display, social, search, video, native

  • Optimize static and animated creatives and offerings for engagement across online formats and channels

  • Define and iterate on standard operating procedures related to dynamic creative ad rate and feed ingestion

  • Facilitate creative a/b test plans and communication of results

  • Manage team, production and queue management

  • Develop and write creative analysis summaries and whitepapers


What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or related field

  • 6+ years creative design experience with a solid understanding of related ad specifications, file formats and technologies across display, social, search, mobile and online video channels.

  • Experience optimizing creative to meet IAB and platform standards (i.e., Google and Facebook)

  • Skilled in the big 3 design apps: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop (the latest versions)

  • Solid visual design expertise in typography, layout, color, and brand systems

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Self motivated and able to juggle multiple projects at once

  • Previous experience mentoring or managing a team
