The role:

Sojern is looking for an Associate Analyst to add to our Property Solutions Analyst team.  We are a rapidly-growing team, and this position will directly support our US Tourism org.  As an Associate Analyst, you will play a critical role within the team by ensuring our campaigns are structured in an optimal way, data feeding decision making is accurate, and build out improved ways to ensure data quality throughout our systems.  The role exists to service and support the Analyst team and their efforts to streamline Tourism campaign optimization to influence client strategy, and partner with sales to deliver on company sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively audit Tourism campaign set-up to ensure optimal settings across multi-platform campaigns.

  • Work with Account Management, Sales, and other teams to refine processes ensuring clean data entry and campaign setup

  • Work with Tourism Sales and AdOps team to identify process improvement areas and

  • Personally manage the most impactful Tourism campaigns ensuring client expectations are met

  • Create best practice documentation and rollout your techniques to the Account Managers and Ad Operations team members.

  • Bring these learnings to the Analyst and Product teams.  Work with the Analyst team to communicate learnings to Product and Engineering team.

  • Communicate your insights and techniques to multiple internal stakeholders; diligent written and excellent presentation skills are key.

  • Identify additional areas of Tourism campaign setup and data entry that would benefit from an audit.

  • Be rigorously data-driven in every aspect of your work, insights, communications and proofs.

 

What you bring to the table:

  • BS or MS in Finance, Marketing, Business, Applied Math, Statistics, or practical equivalent is preferred.

  • 1-2 years relevant analytical experience

  • Microsoft Excel power user; SQL/equivalent language experience a plus

  • Skills, desire to learn, insatiable curiosity, desire to grow, desire to collaborate not only with the Analyst team but also with other internal teams that depend on your insights.

  • A detail-oriented mindset

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work in fast paced environment, balance multiple priorities, work with remote offices.
