The Role:

The Analyst role drive operational efficiency throughout the company and is tasked with supporting multiple teams along the way. The successful candidate will need to be highly detailed oriented and capable of relaying information and recommendations to a variety of teams across the business.



  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of Sojern’s products, procedures and optimization technology.

  • Investigate and solve discrepancies with campaign reporting.

  • Innovate on tools, processes, and optimisation tactics.

  • Complete projects to a high quality and in a timely manner.

  • Create and monitor different tests to help push operational efficiency.

  • Work closely with the product and data science team’s to formulate optimal strategies with regards to campaign and audience optimisation.

  • Collate and feed information between the Ad Operations, product and engineering teams.

  • Proactively identify inefficiencies within the company, in a bid to push for additional monetary savings whilst scaling performance and opportunities at the same time.

  • Provide ad hoc coaching to teams within the company and is responsible for driving adoption of new operational processes.


What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related area.

  • 2-4 years industry, Analyst and job-related experience

  • Strong interest in and understanding of online advertising technology

  • Strong analytical capability with ability to analyse large data sets to forecast and provide recommendations

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Detail-oriented, good organizational skills and ability to manage time and multiple tasks

  • Strong computer skills with experience using MS Office and Google applications

  • Advanced MS Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, data filters/sorts and basic macros

  • Understanding of databases, SQL, Tableau, Python, and/or R

  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and meet expectations of multiple constituents
