Product Designer

Design and UX Guild | Vancouver, BC, Canada | Full Time

A successful Product Designer has an eagerness to jump in, solve problems and possess a unique combination of proven ability in user experience, visual design and prototyping. Product Designers are often asked to help break down complex problems through workshops, research and design iterations. They must be comfortable engaging with clients and managing the execution of objectives.


  • 3+ years of design experience
  • Strong portfolio of work demonstrating exceptional UI and UX design.
  • Ability to apply design processes from beginning to end based on industry best practices to ensure world class design experiences.
  • Experience facilitating or working with fellow designers in design workshops and UX research.
  • Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the design team
  • Ability to understand customer needs, motivations and behaviors and translate them into actionable deliverables
  • Strong client management skills. You can articulate on discussions around your process, explorations and conclusions.
  • Proficiency with current design tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC Suite, Invision, etc.


  • Values teamwork: demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams, involving designers, project managers, developers and QA engineers
  • Works enthusiastically: has passion for the work and the role; can-do attitude
  • Self-motivated and driven to get the details right
  • Communicates efficiently and carefully both verbally and in written form
  • Is always eager to experiment and never stops learning
