Account Manager/Client Partner

In this role, you will have the ultimate responsibility for a customer’s entire experience with Softvision. You will have a portfolio of customers and are accountable for the revenue, profitability and success of those customer relationships. You will build positive relationships with customers during projects. You’ll be the customers’ first point of contact, ensuring that our customers remain satisfied with our services.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to communicate well and multi-task under tight deadlines. Experience in sales or software project management is an asset in this position. If you’re a team player and a problem-solver, we’d like to meet you. Your goal will be to ensure that our relationships with customers are strong, profitable and enduring.

You will be at the center of the customer team and provide leadership. Core responsibilities here are keeping the Softvision team fully updated on all feedback coming from the customer and ensuring that they adhere to customer expectations. You will hold regular team meetings to review current work and make regular reports to senior management about how your team and customer relations are performing.

Additional responsibilities will also include:

  • Manage customer and client activity for Softvision customers through strong relationship-building, program knowledge, planning and execution

  • Foster positive relationships with our customers as their primary point of contact

  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities

  • Address customer issues with speed and efficiency

  • Prepare reports on project performance

  • Ensure that contract terms and conditions are met

  • Work closely to analyze options and help meet those needs by ensuring timely execution of project deliverables and facilitation of services

  • Effectively communicate and build relationships across multiple departments and locations

  • Function as the voice of the customer and provide internal feedback on how Softvision can better serve our business and customers

  • Track accounts to identify risk and help work proactively to eliminate that risk

  • Identify opportunities to drive improvements and build efficiencies and work closely with stakeholders

  • Perform recurring business reviews to establish critical goals or other key performance indicator

  • Guide customer program success and strategy and manage customer renewals

  • Communicate clearly within the organization regarding progress, issues and opportunities that arise during engagements with clients

  • Conduct customer site visits to maintain accounts

  • Track onboarding progress and follow up as necessary for assigned accounts


Qualifications and Skills

  • 5+ years in a customer-facing role, preferably from a technology, SaaS or services company. You may have supported sales from a technical position, or been a software project manager.

  • Detail oriented and able to build quality checks into each phase of the customer lifecycle

  • Self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas to inspire customer loyalty and adoption

  • Outstanding communication, listening, and presentation skills (spoken/written)

  • Someone who thrives in a multitasking environment and can adjust priorities on-the-fly

  • Ability to set and communicate expectations

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through customer issues

  • Proven track record of managing customer escalations, balancing customer expectations, and negotiating successful resolutions

  • Constantly looking to expand their knowledge and skill set
