Social Media Strategist

Job Description

The Role:

We’re looking for a Social Media Strategist who can evolve and elevate SnackNation’s current online presence in both B2B and B2C channels, managing SnackNation’s social media ecosystem and its connective tissue to the larger digital ecosystem. You’ll create our strategic vision, influencer programs, customized brand collaborations, interact with relevant accounts and copy write for the SnackNation-owned posts. In doing so, you’ll grow our followers, engage and retain them, and help convert them into leads, customers, and active fans and promoters of SnackNation!

What You Get To Do Daily:

  • Own all social media for SnackNation’s growing brand on the following platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Quora (and be ready to launch on the up-and-coming platforms that you believe will be big in the future!)

  • Tactfully insert SnackNation into online conversations

  • Create, implement, and manage numerous social marketing campaigns under one master strategy, across numerous platforms while defining KPIs, tracking them, and achieving them

  • Brief and excite creative team members for execution of high-quality, shareable, buzz-worthy content

  • Find new opportunities by keeping a pulse on the industry and news: Know what's changing on social networks and in the industry, and react and respond accordingly

  • Build tailored social media tactics for our brand partners, adhering to their business goals and marketing campaigns

What We Expect From You:

  • 3 - 6 years of social media marketing experience, ideally on the brand side and agency backgrounds are welcomed

  • Has created and executed an influencer marketing strategy, has owned and operated the social media channels for a given brand, and knows how to measure KPIs and ROI with input to business performance

  • Proven ability to work well with creative team members and brief them effectively to produce great work

  • Extensive experience presenting marketing strategies and tactics to key decision makers

  • Command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience

  • Strong interpersonal skills, an enthusiastic attitude, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams

  • Institutional knowledge of tracking, analytics, effective content elements (photography, etc.)

  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with diverse audiences and stakeholders

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
