Inc. 500 CMO Seeks Top 10% Digital Content Coordinator for Quickly Growing Health, Nutrition, and Marketing Company.

 

Dear Digital Content and Social Media Coordinator,

If you love content marketing and project management, this will be the most important “job ad” you’ll ever read.

As Digital Content Coordinator, you’ll be a key player in our growing content production and syndication team while being in charge of multiple new and exciting initiatives we have planned. You’ll need to have a strong ability to drive projects forward and hold multiple teams accountable to meeting deadlines.

In short, we’re building an all-star content team that creates high quality videos, podcasts, blogs, website content and social media posts, so you’ll need to have experience managing a lot of different content channels.

1) THIS IS NOT A “STANDARD” CONTENT MARKETING ROLE.

You know what we mean…where everything is on auto-pilot and your day consists of sipping coffee, checking your stats, and having your role spoon-fed to you.  This is a “roll up your sleeves,” get involved, and create massive value type of role.  You’ll be in charge of our content calendars and coordinating the publication of our content through various channels.

MORE ABOUT THIS ROLE:

What You’ll Do:

In this role you will help create and coordinate social media, video, blog, and podcast content production, field requests from other departments, project manage cross-departmental initiatives, and act as a representative of the Content team within the company. As the Content Coordinator you will:

  • Assist Leadership in coming up with ideas for appropriate content to serve each of the Company’s specific audiences, from Consumers to Brands to Talent - you’ll be well-rounded in content creation and execution

  • Partnering with talented individuals like the Creative Director, Graphic Designer, Communications Director, Social Media Manager and Paid Media Manager

  • Work closely with our Podcast Producer to strategize and execute on podcasts for Facebook, Linkedin and Instagram advertising campaigns.

  • Help write clear, concise, and creative copy for our social channels, including headlines, CTAs and social media content

  • Manage outside content contributors and maintain quality control to ensure all content is on-brand, error free, and consistent in style and messaging to optimize user experience and achieve SnackNation objectives

  • Assist in the posting of social media content across several platforms

  • Assist in the creation and management of multiple content calendars

 

Who You Are:

  • An experienced coordinator, creator and project manager with at least 2 years of project management experience (content marketing experience is a bonus)

  • Can own a shared content schedule and drive others to meet their deadlines

  • Strong influencing abilities. This role requires you to work with multiple team members and contractors, and influence them to meet the common goals of the organization. You must be able to manage and influence other people on the team to achieve content creation goals when they’re extremely busy.

  • Have the ability to come-up with and create effective content ideas/strategies that will drive maximal engagement of audience

  • A skilled proofreader with meticulous attention to detail

  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively as required; versatility required

  • Exemplify these character traits:
