Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance | Kent, WA | Full Time | From $32.00 to $40.00 per hour

Smith Brothers Farms, a leading producer and deliverer of milk to homes, schools, and business in the Puget Sound area for more than 100 years, is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join the team in Kent, WA.

Requirements:

  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment/machinery in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic electrical knowledge

  • Multiple shifts available:
    • Tuesday - Saturday: 5:30am - 2:00pm
    • Tuesday - Saturday: 1:30pm - 10:00pm
    • Tuesday - Saturday: 9:30pm - 6:00am
    • Sunday - Thursday: 9:30pm - 6:00am

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing support for night production through preventative maintenance, facilities repair, and process improvement
  • Ensuring production of our fine dairy products
  • Performing preventative maintenance of fluid dairy packaging and HTST equipment as well as warehouse infrastructure
  • Performing repairs to building and utilities
  • Responding to spills for cleanup and pollution prevention
