Level 1 Support Specialist (Phone Support)

Site5 is a shared, reseller, cloud, and VPS web hosting company with a world wide team and we are looking to hire some great people to help support our growing company. We have the bulk of our staff in the USA but also in the UK, India, Serbia, Uruguay, Canada, Portugal, Australia, Romania, and more!  We have a lot of room for growth in the company, both in technical positions, systems positions, project based positions, management positions, software development, and customer service for those that excel in working with customers. In the last few years we have doubled in size and are continuing to grow very quickly.

Job Requirements:
  • Love of helping people and love for the Internet!
  • Experience in web hosting, and with cPanel and linux. 
  • A reliable high-speed Internet connection and capable of Voice over IP (VOIP).
  • Quiet environment where you can take phone calls with customers without distraction or background noise.
  • Phone & computer headset for VOIP and Skype.
  • Fast typer (40wpm+).
  • Excellent spoken English.
  • You should be comfortable using cPanel and WHM and general web hosting topics (Wordpress, Drupal, etc.).
  • Desire to better yourself and learn by reading and testing. If you don’t understand how WordPress works you need to have the drive to set up your own install and play with it.
Career Duties:
Provide Site5 customers with amazing customer service and make sure we have the most stable, problem free hosting possible! Plus with you being our eyes and ears on the ground it is up to you to make sure any repeat bugs or issues are escalated and fixed. 
Day to Day Duties:
Provide customer support via phone on L1 support issues and basic sales questions. Escalate any trickier technical issues up to our L2 admin team.
Shift Schedule:
Monday through Friday: 6pm - 2am US Eastern Time (5 days, 8 hour shifts)
