Responsibilities:

  • By phone, email and in person, take inbound sales inquiries and quickly determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions based on cost, availability or specifications
  • Direct sales lead to appropriate member of the sales team
  • Cold call, direct email, and perform other lead generation activities
  • Create customer relationships that foster repeat business. Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
  • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns
  • Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability
  • Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items
  • Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction
  • Facilitate and/or fill requests for catalogs, information or samples
  • Communicate internally any unexpected increases or decreases in demand for products
  • General administrative work, pick/pack in warehouse, data entry and other duties and responsibilities as needed

  • Communicate effective and clear messaging and tone of Silipint brand, culture, products & services
  • Ability to quickly learn sales parameters and explain sales channels to customers verbally and written
  • Computer savvy with fast, accurate typing skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Detail oriented for processes and willingness to create positive relationships with customers
  • Production/inventory understanding/conscientiousness & accuracy for order entry
  • Enjoy working directly with consumers and dealers in person, on the phone and via email
  • Problem solving, time management, product knowledge, and a positive attitude are also essential
  • Sales experience, as well as customer service in consumer products is a big plus
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, have a team player mentality, a willingness to learn, and ability to prioritize work
  • Ability to manage conflict and negotiate positive outcomes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously is a must
  • Comfortable in Mac OS & cloud environments
