As part of the Trax Retail family, we are a pre-IPO unicorn looking to accelerate our growth trajectory as we partner with major brands and retailers, ranging from H&M and Unilever to Best Buy and Purina, to transform the way people engage with stores and products, both online and in the physical world.

Shopkick is looking for a Senior Sales Planner to join our growing team. The Senior Sales Planner will work closely with the Sales and Account Management teams to build unique and compelling proposals leveraging the Shopkick product stack in response to Fortune 500 client RFPs including P&G, Kraft, Unilever, and Starbucks. This role also partners closely with Operations to manage and improve our internal inventory forecasting tools. 


RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage the RFP pipeline for Key and Target accounts 

  • Build proposals that show a deep understanding of Shopkick inventory, performance, user insights and marketing trends 

  • Develop strategic proposals that deliver against client KPIs, utilizing historical brand or category performance

  • Build proposals that deliver against Shopkick’s financial goals

  • Lead IO generation through internal or third-party systems

  • Partner with Account Management and Operations to optimize live campaigns for higher pacing or conversion 

  • Identify areas of improvement and own problem solving and rollout of solutions

  • Begin people management with junior team members if needed

  • Attend both internal and external calls and meetings for assigned accounts to closely monitor campaign performance and account growth

  • Take lead on internal initiatives and projects


DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years experience within mobile, digital or retail planning; agency, publisher or client side 

  • Must be highly organized, able to properly manage time, and prioritize projects

  • Must be detail-oriented and eager to problem-solve and present new ideas

  • Must be proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel with strong mathematical skills

    • Experience in MS Excel Modeling and SQL is a plus 

  • Must be able to drive results with little to no supervision 

  • Must be able to make contributions to the sales team through self-defined tasks and areas of ownership

  • Must be self-directed in your learning process (knows when to ask for help when stuck; does not go down rabbit holes)

  • Excellent communication skills; you enjoy and excel at communicating with a wide variety of individuals and aren’t afraid to voice your ideas. Must also have clarity and professionalism in client communications

  • Hard worker, who is adaptable, flexible and a self-starter; you work extremely well under tight deadlines while wearing many different hats

  • Must be willing and able to give guidance to other team members as needed

  • BA/BS required
