Shopkick is in search of a Senior Manager, FP&A (title will be determined by candidate’s experience level) is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis in all aspects of operations including cost of goods sold (COGS), operating expense (OPEX), headcount and capital expenditures (CAPEX), requiring application of organizational company capitalization policies and proper expense timing to accurately forecast future profit and loss and cash flow. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and update complex financial models
  • Prepare annual forecast model and budget
  • Monitor and analyze sales pipeline and identify lead and lag indicators for incorporation into the revenue and OPEX (sales commission, bonus) forecast model
  • Apply basic revenue recognition rules for different revenue models such as cost per click, affiliate, subscription or fixed revenue model
  • Analysis of the financial impact of changes to sales commission structure or sales compensation plans
  • Perform sales pipeline analysis with Salesforce.com utilizing process automation and optimization leveraging system capabilities to improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with senior management across the organization and supporting leadership by measuring and explaining business results, including establishing, measuring and reporting on key performance and financial metrics
  • Drive steady improvements to and automation of current processes with a focus on driving innovative analyses and operating efficiency
  • Design, build and maintain dashboards, reports and other data visualization tools
  • Develop and implement financial infrastructure to support the business

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have experience in managing the whole company financial statements, being able to create budget and projection for three different statements (required)
  • Experience in Adtech or related field is plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a closely related field
  • Experience applying basic revenue recognition rules, as well as organizational company capitalization policies and proper expense timing to accurately forecast future profit and loss and cash flow
  • Ability to develop and update complex financial models using multi-taps Excel model involving pivot table, what-if-analysis, and regression analysis function
  • Experience analyzing the financial impact of changes to sales commission structure or sales compensation plans
  • Ability to perform sales pipeline analysis with Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM system, utilizing process automation and optimization leveraging system capabilities to improve operational efficiency
