Shopkick is searching for an exceptionally talented Senior Content Curator to own the content pipeline and drive editorial initiatives for the team. The Content Strategist will execute essential operational tasks to inspire shoppers to visit both online and brick-and-mortar retail stores, leading the company in content strategy and execution. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Embrace a “player-coach” mentality; responsible for creating engaging content and helping define strategy that aligns with evolving consumer and business needs
  • Stay on top of current and emerging trends in retail including fashion, lifestyle/home goods, beauty products, CPGs and more
  • Manage various editorial calendars and trackers, working with Content Curators and Marketing team to create compelling, well-curated lookbooks and offers that reflect Shopkick’s voice and target market
  • Support Retailer, Marketing, and Brand Partnerships teams in various campaign initiatives, at times working directly with the client
  • Support daily content operations using a web-based administration tool, HTML and Google Docs to upload content and compile comprehensive layouts, troubleshooting when necessary
  • Work cross-collaboratively with Product Designers and Engineers to drive new features, new production processes and streamline existing processes within internal administrative panel as well as other organizational tools
  • Utilize analytics tools to drive relevancy of curated content and updating content, when necessary, to provide users with the ultimate experience


  • 3+ years of merchandising, copywriting or digital marketing experience
  • Experience owning an editorial calendar and working in a content management system
  • Exceptional writer and editor with a background in creating consumer campaigns and adapting tone of voice
  • A working knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign, and ability to confidently edit images and design assets
  • Experience managing time-sensitive projects from concept to delivery
  • You have a strong, cohesive aesthetic, a sharp eye for high-quality yet affordable merchandise and a strong knowledge of fashion and lifestyle brands as well as competitors in the industry
  • The ability to adapt to change seamlessly with excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative team environment
  • Any prior use of internal administrative panels is a plus
  • BA, BS or BFA in Writing, Design, Fashion Merchandising, Digital Communications or related field required
